-------------------------------------------------------- Rules of the Great Internationnal Tournament (GIT )-------------------------------------------------------------

1/ Tournament:
The GTI is an internationnal tournament. It aims to bring together a maximum of players and the entire planet from every continent in the same challenge: to become the World Champion of MTP Target.

2/ Meetings table:
A/ Table setup: The meeting table is set up in the same way as in tennis tournaments. there will be a draw to fix the first meetings in the table. Then a second round will follow, 1/8èmes finals, 1 / 4 finals, 1 / 2 finals and the finals (and small final to decide between 3rd and 4th place).
B/ Qualifications: If the number of participants is not 32, 64 or 128, the players who have the less points would have to go throw qualifications meetings.
C/ Seeded players : The 8 players firsts players in the match ranking (mt/mt_stats.php?page=stat_match) will be separated, to prevent meetings between them in the first round.
D/ The meetings table : For the third GTI, the meetings table had been drawn by [Ð-Volt]BaÐy, and will be fill in after the draw, which will take place on Wednesday April the 15th at 9 PM, on TeamSpeak and CeB.

3/ The draw:
For the draw, acemtp created a software draw. It enters the names in the list, then entering a key, and the software comes out a random draw match by match.
To choose the key, I'll ask in live, on TeamSpeak. , to all the players who will be there, to give me one or 2 numbers that i'll enter together to get the key of the draw.
After the draw the meeting table will be fill, and the meetings days and hours will be decided.

4/ The matches:
Matches will be held in 1vs1. This means duels.
To win a duel, you must have more points than his opponent in a given time.
The first round will be played in 30 minutes.
Same for the second round: match in 30 minutes.
For the 8th finals, the matches will last 40 minutes.
In 1 / 4 finals, the matches will last 50 minutes.
In 1 / 2 final matches last 1H.
And for the final, the match will be played in 1H30.
In case of a tie between two players at the end of a countdown account, the arbitrator must revive a match 5 minutes for the winner.

5/ Where?:
The tournament takes place on the "tournament server." It doesn't contain team maps and the vote is not possible. It is advised to arrive 10 minutes before your match.
Exept for a match between 2 swedish players, it will take place on the french "tournament server".

6/ Rules players and spectators:
This tournament was created to unite all the players together, whatever their country, language, sex, age, and so on. Therefore, any insult, and other abusive comment, will be subject to sanction more or less severe, depends on what has been said, but can be even banissement for life of the player.
I am counting on all the players to make this tournament a model of fair play, breathing a good atmosphere.

7/ Arbitration Rules:
A/ The arbiters : the arbiters of this third GTI will be : the organizer of the tournament : [ToTaLe_NaWaK]FrapZC, and to help him : [DisasterS] Sib and [Ð-Volt]BaÐy.
B/ "playing offences" :
The "playing offences" are all errors or offences that a player may do during a match.
It could be:
- Insults against a player on line or on CeB (Spectator, challenger, arbiter, himself, ...)
- The open strikes, even if it's lag consequences (unless if the lag is blatant).
- Push away the opponent on the ramp on Space maps.
- Too much unsporting behaviour (as waiting before landing whereas nothing retain him to land...).
C/ Punishment for "playing offences" :
When a player get a warning from the arbiter, here is the punishment:
-First warning : no punishment.
- Second warning : -300 points.
- Third warning : -1 000 points.
- Fourth warning : Disqualified.
D/ Points and time :Since the end of the first GTI the tournament server admister the time and the points count.
E/ Bugs during the match : when bug happens during the tournament on a player, the map will not be stop or pass by. The bug is considered as a game part that can be avoid. Even though, the challenger may and is really hope to, as a really sporting behaviour, crash itself or ask the arbiter to pass by or stop the map.
F/Lateness : If a player come more than 10 minutes late to his match (except a very very VERY good reason) will be disqualified, the validation will be done with the organizer of the tournament.

Have a good game and a lot of fun :D
